Donations of Masks and Sanitizers to Low Income Families – Part 01

Thanks to your donation, we started giving out free masks and hand sanitizers to families in need. Our focus was on families living in remote areas of the country. These people are vulnerable, lack the awareness of the importance of these PPEs and can not afford these items. In Sri Lanka, it is mandatory that everyone wears masks when they go out. Especially in publics places. Families who were struggling before the Pandemic are now facing more hardships. Families members  from remote communities rush to towns & cities looking for casual work and to buy groceries for survival. They do not understand the importance of wearing masks. They can not afford hand sanitizers and masks from the small income they earn. Therefore, we decided to donate masks and hand sanitizers to around 200 families living in remote areas in Anuradhpura, Polonnaruwa, Kegalle and Chilaw in Sri Lanka.  And team spends time to educate these families on the importance of using masks and hand sanitizers. Together, we can beat the virus.
