Extending helping hands towards a mother who became a widow along with a child, to start a food business (Day 02)
You are already aware that we have donated kitchen utensils and a gas cooker for a poor family enabling them to expand their self employment. Upon her invitation, we visited them very next day morning. She gave us a warm welcome and offered us with a delicious breakfast meal. We had a quality inspection on food as she made them for selling.
We did few other donations on that day. Containers to store food items and few other cooking stuffs such as dry rations, flour and oil etc.
She is delighted with these donations as she became a sophisticated woman who uses blender / grinder for grinding grain items instead of using inefficient and time consuming traditional equipment called “Wangediya” to grind grain items and gas cooker for cooking instead of using firewood stove which is time consuming and also inconvenient due to high emissions of smoke and carbon. She was in a joyful mood with tears in eyes due to happiness.
Her daughter gave a painting done by her saying “Thank you”.
They waved their hands joyfully and bid farewell.
Once again, thank you very much for this great meritorious deed helping a courageous mother to continue her self employment in an efficient and sophisticated manner.
